 What do a British solicitor, a hairy tenant, a German train passenger, a fabulous French nightclub singer, a croupier, an old invalid Texan and a nun all have in common?  The answer- they are all characters I play in my next production, the musical "Lucky Stiff." 

A funny, clever murder mystery musical comedy, "Lucky Stiff" tells the story of Harry Witherspoon, a awkward British shoe salesman who inherits six million dollars from an American uncle he never even knew he had.  The only catch is that Harry must escort his uncle's dead body to Monte Carlo for one last week of gambling, women, drink and adventure.  During his travels, Harry and Uncle Anthony run into many people, many of whom are played by me.

"Lucky Stiff" is a regional premier of the earliest collaboration between Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the creators behind "Once On This Island" and "Ragtime."  It is a charming, humorous, carefree two hours.  Come and join us.
